Big Serve Day: Good Works

Those who signup for this project will have the opportunity to work with Good Works in repairing a home and restoring hope. You will be working with a volunteer crew leader and technical advisor, so newbies to home repair are welcome to sign up! Teens 15 and up are also welcome, as long as they have parental supervision. The day of, you will meet at a Good Works warehouse to receive an orientation and be given the scope of the project. Be prepared for any and all types of home repair projects (from roofing, painting or pulling shrubs, etc., with both inside and outside projects). The orientation will take place at one of two warehouses. The Coatesville Warehouse at 82 Pearl Alley Coatesville, PA 19320 or the West Chester Warehouse at 315 S. Whitford Rd. Exton, PA  19341. Depending on the size of our group and the scope of the projects for the day, we may be asked to split our group between the two locations. More details to come as we get closer to the serve day.

What to bring: Work/weather appropriate cloths, work gloves and extra drinks for the day (lunch is provided)

P.S. upon signing up, you will be sent a Release Waiver and the Good Works Volunteer Handbook. Please fill out the waiver and send it back to pastor Jake as soon as possible! It is required to volunteer.
