Big Serve Day: TLC For the People

Volunteers who sign up for this project will be assisting TLC with organizing and sorting supplies and doing a deep cleaning of their facilities from a long season of winter ministry. This will include cleaning and storing supplies from their Code Blue Shelter–a warm and dry space to sleep that TLC provides when temperatures dip below freezing–but other areas of ministry will also need to be cleaned and prepared for spring and summer ministry opportunities.

This is a great project for adults and children! Younger volunteers will get the chance to fill care packages and write encouraging notes for future guests. You are also encouraged to collect travel size toiletries, white socks, and adult size diapers (larger sizes only), to help restock TLC's supply. Bring your donations with you or drop them off at the church before the day of service.
